MaxSolar donates 3148 Euros for refugee aid

Employee campaign for a good cause

Running, cycling, walking - every kilometre covered counted in the MaxSolar GmbH employee campaign. About 50 employees joined forces to support Dr. Nadiia Kosmyna from Ukraine with their muscle power. Using a Strava group, the participants documented all the routes they covered in their free time during the campaign period in April. A total of 3148 kilometres were recorded. The management paid one euro for each kilometre in advance. With these 3148 Euros, a used Hyundai i10 was purchased, which the seller had made available at a special price for the good cause and which was now handed over to Dr. Nadiia Kosmyna by Managing Director Christoph Strasser. There was even money left over for any additional costs. "I am pleased that we can help quickly and in an uncomplicated way with this campaign," emphasised Christoph Strasser. The recipient was visibly overwhelmed by the helpfulness shown to her. She uses the car to get from A to B in the district of Altötting without any problems during her voluntary work for the BRK. She uses it for appointments at the welfare shop or vaccination centre and welcomes buses with Ukrainian refugees and also helps with the integration of Ukrainian children and teaches German at the Comenius School in Töging.
