Communal solar parks

At the first major solar auction of the year, conducted by the Federal Network Agency, a total of around 1,950 MWp for photovoltaic systems of the first segment - i.e. ground-mounted systems - were put out to tender. In the process, 347 bids were registered for a total of 2,869 MWp. The tender was thus again clearly oversubscribed.

Bavaria's Deputy Minister President and Minister of Economic Affairs, Hubert Aiwanger, lent a hand in person and carried out the first pile driving for the module substructure on the Kiemertshofen project site.

The German Innovation Institute for Sustainability and Digitalization (DIND) awarded MaxSolar the prestigious "Employer of the Future" seal. The award confirms MaxSolar's employer qualities.

MaxSolar GmbH from Traunstein has convinced with its innovation qualities and therefore received the TOP 100 seal 2023 again.

Official groundbreaking ceremony was held for the Bundorf solar park, which will be one of the largest renewable energy projects in Germany. It covers an area of 125 ha and will be completed by mid-2023 with a construction period of 10 months. The more than 250,000 bifacial modules with a total output of almost 125 MWp can arithmetically supply more than 37,500 households with solar power. The completion of the other renewable projects in the future energy municipality is scheduled for 2024.

The municipality of Aschau is promoting the expansion of sustainable mobility and is setting up 24 charging points for electric cars. This makes the municipality a pioneer in the expansion of municipal charging infrastructure in the region. All charging points are supplied with green electricity.

This makes MaxSolar one of just under 5 percent of companies that qualify for this seal after the requirements have hardened.

Since 1 May 2022, David Bischoff, who previously worked successfully at GE Power Services and Alstom Power Services, has been the COO of the project management and purchasing/logistics divisions. As a strategic driving force and innovative leader, he will further develop and efficiently position these business areas of MaxSolar.

We are setting the course for the next growth phase and expanding the company management.

Elke Hanel has been a member of the management of MaxSolar GmbH since February 1 and is responsible for project development. She has been granted power of attorney. Thus, the management level also reflects the business strategy oriented towards further growth, which is being pursued sustainably with the 100% takeover by the shareholders Nature Infrastructure Capital and GreenVolt.

In addition to individual training opportunities, maxsolar regularly enables its employees to visit relevant trade fairs. "In the rapidly developing industry, it is particularly important that employees keep their finger on the pulse and quickly implement market innovations in the company," says Managing Director Christoph Strasser.
