Best practice: Solar carport
The car park behind the town hall of the Upper Bavarian municipality of Neuötting is another step towards more electromobility and sustainability. maxsolar realised a solar carport with twelve parking spaces and two e-charging stations, each with two charging points, for the Bürgerenergie-Genossenschaft Innsalzach eG operator. The PV system on the carport roof consists of 85 modules with an output of almost 27 kilowatts peak (kWp) – which are fed directly into the town hall. The 29,000 kilowatt hours that can be achieved represents 17 percent of the total electricity consumption in the town hall, avoiding an estimated 17.8 tonnes of CO2 emissions per year.
